Meet the founder

Monique Shields CEO Executive Allure
Monique Shields is the Founder and CEO of Executive Allure, a boutique consultancy built for leaders with bold visions and high expectations. With over 30 years of behind-the-scenes experience, she brings deep expertise in executive support, strategic partnerships, and high-impact event planning. Monique partners with founders, philanthropists, CEOs, and purpose-driven leaders who carry the weight of big ideas but do not always have the internal team or capacity to execute at the level their vision deserves.

Her career began as a trusted executive assistant inside major corporations, where she developed a sharp intuition for how leaders operate, what they need, and how to stay two steps ahead. Over the years, she has shaped impactful experiences for leaders at organizations such as Verizon, Starbucks, Nordstrom, CenturyLink, and the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation. Her approach is always high touch, thoughtful, and purpose driven.

Again and again, Monique saw influential leaders, often operating without large in-house teams, juggling strategy, relationships, and execution. She created Executive Allure to fill that gap, delivering the caliber of structure, polish, and strategic flow expected in corporate settings but tailored for visionary, high-impact individuals and organizations.

Executive Allure is about more than events. Monique creates strategic, intentional moments such as retreats, investor gatherings, and launches that align leadership and vision. She brings care and precision so clients can lead with presence and peace of mind.

A certified minority and woman-owned business owner, Monique actively collaborates with women-led and BIPOC-owned businesses across industries. She is especially driven by partnership and visibility for Black-owned businesses, foundations, and changemakers.

Monique has been working with the American Heart Association since 2019 and continues to advocate for heart health, maternal care, and access in communities of color. She experienced the profound loss of her mother in 2024, which further deepened her personal connection to these causes and strengthened her commitment to creating awareness and improving outcomes for Black communities and women.

Monique believes anything is possible with the right support, and Executive Allure is built to be that support.

Community, advocacy & impact

At Executive Allure, community is part of our foundation, and our commitment to causes like heart health has been ongoing since 2019 when Monique Shields began volunteering with the American Heart Association. That mission became even more personal after losing her mother to heart failure in 2024, and we continue to support movements that reflect our values through strategic partnership, advocacy, and visibility.
