Leadership Environments | Retreats & Governance

Friends, colleagues, and clients know her as Moe — a calm, trusted presence leaders call when the moment carries weight.

Monique Shields is the Founder and CEO of Executive Allure, a strategic partner to founders, CEOs, boards, and leaders across organizations, brands, and experiences navigating moments of visibility, growth, and responsibility.

She serves as a trusted extension of leadership when representation matters, conversations call for discernment, and the environment reflects the weight of the work.

With more than 30 years of experience supporting senior executives across telecommunications, retail, fashion, and philanthropy, Monique brings executive fluency, composure, and an intuitive ability to read the room.

Her career includes work alongside leadership teams at Verizon, Starbucks, CenturyLink, Nordstrom, and the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation — environments where trusted presence, discretion, and high-level coordination were essential.

That experience became the foundation for Executive Allure, focused on strengthening the structure behind leadership environments where the outcome matters.

Today, her work centers on moments where leadership is gathered and something meaningful needs to move forward. She saw the need for a trusted partner at this level, so these moments are not held alone or left to chance, and steps in to ensure the room moves forward with clarity, intention, and a sense of presence that reflects the people in it.

Her leadership extends beyond client engagements through board service within a regional hospital system and as a 2024 Go Red for Women Mission Speaker with the American Heart Association — a mission that became deeply personal following the loss of her mother in 2024.

Executive Allure reflects the grounded presence, discernment, and intentional leadership she brings into executive environments. It exists to protect the leader and strengthen their reputation and presence.

The Heart Behind Executive Allure

Executive Allure was built on the belief that leadership carries weight—and that the moments surrounding it should not be held alone.

Leaders are often navigating complex priorities and don’t always have the space to intentionally shape the room—yet the outcome depends on it. Executive Allure steps in to ensure those moments are held with clarity, intention, and the level of care they deserve.

2021 Pacific Northwest Admin “Spirit” Award

In 2021, during her career as an executive assistant, Monique received the nationally recognized Spirit Award from the Admin Awards — the highest honor in the administrative profession.

The award recognizes administrative leaders honored for their impact, presence, and contribution at the highest levels of leadership.

Those same qualities — trusted partnership, anticipation of needs, and clarity under pressure — form the foundation of Executive Allure today.
