About the Founder – Monique Shields Monique Shields is the Founder and CEO of Executive Allure, a boutique consultancy built to support leaders with bold visions and high expectations. With over 30 years of behind-the-scenes experience, she brings deep expertise in executive support, strategic partnerships, and high-impact gatherings that move vision forward. Monique partners closely with founders, CEOs, boards, and philanthropic leaders who carry the weight of big ideas but may not always have the time or team to execute at the level their vision deserves. Her role is to provide trusted partnership, structure, and polish, ensuring every detail reflects the excellence of the leaders she supports. Her career began as a trusted executive assistant inside major corporations, where she developed a sharp intuition for how leaders operate, what they need, and how to anticipate two steps ahead. Over the years, she has shaped impactful gatherings for leaders at organizations such as Verizon, Starbucks, Nordstrom, CenturyLink, and the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation. That early insight now informs her work as a strategic partner for high-stakes leadership retreats, board experiences, philanthropic engagements, and brand activations. Monique is especially committed to collaboration. She actively partners with Black-owned businesses, women-led enterprises, and venue partners whose excellence helps bring each experience to life. Through her community service and board leadership in healthcare and philanthropy, she brings a deep understanding of gatherings that advance both business and community impact. Her advocacy work is personal as well as professional. Since 2019, she has served with the American Heart Association, leading initiatives in heart health, maternal care, and equity in communities of color. Following the loss of her mother in 2024, Monique’s commitment to this mission deepened, shaping both her leadership and the purpose behind Executive Allure.
